HTC announces M8 Ace Vogue or One E8
Remember the HTCs budget -friendly handset with high-end internals that leaked a few days back, that was dubbed as HTC M8 Ace? Well, that exact phone from the Taiwanese multinational smartphone manufacturer is now official in the name of HTC One E8.
This newly announced phone from firm will be made out of plastics or polycarbonate body, unlike the original HTC One M8s aluminium-clad. Which indeed will save you and the manufacturer some money when affording a smartphone like this in the consumer markets. The phone is slightly curvier, thicker or fatter than its big brother, where now the One E8 measures 9.85 millimeters in thickness, maintaining the same width and height dimensions of the companys flagship handsets design, also weighing much lighter at only 145 grams. Unfortunately, the brand new device from HTC will lack the duo-set of primary camera on the back (as seen from the above and below pictures), where this time the maker fits in a 13 megapixels sensor on the back with single-LED flash accompanied.
The HTC One E8 smartphone will be out in three color options, first scheduled to be available in China for about 2800 Chinese Yuan, which is around 448 United States Dollars. That is definitely cheaper than an $699 price tagged, unlocked HTC One 2014 (M8). The One E8 is said to make its way outside the Chinese shores by the starting of the next month, with a similar price, not going higher than the $500 mark.
So for the internals, the smartphone will feature a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, running at 2.5GHz, five-inches screen of Full High Definition screen of 1080p resolution display, 16 gigabytes of internal storage (expandable via microSD card slot) two gigabytes of Random Access Memory, 13 megapixels primary camera on board with LED flash light and a five megapixels secondary camera on the front, both coming with BSI sensor and ability to capture videos at Full HD 1080p resolution. For connectivity highlights, the unit has got dual-SIM 4G LTE network connections, both with active Quad-Band GSM radios.
