Source confirms fingerprint reader for Galaxy S5

Samsungs upcoming flagship smartphone and their yet to be announced front runner from the Galaxy S fleet, the Galaxy S5 was in doubts to sport a retina eye scanner or a fingerprint reader. This time the source have come to game, confirming the new unannounced handset to sport a biometrics sensor.

According to the reports from coming in from SAMMOBILE, the Koreans have implemented their new fingerprint scanner right under their hardware home button, again proving the new phone to bring along the physical button, as seen from its predecessors, than the latest on-screen software ones, more over to what Apple has done with their iPhone 5S previously.

How will Sammys new tech work unlocking the phone with the users biometrics? Well this can be called off from an HTC One Max, as youll have to swipe your finger across the home button from its base to tip. It is also said that, users will have to place their finger flat surfacing to the home key and swipe away at a moderate speed, or else it wont recognize the admin. The alleged words also suggest Samsungs fingerprint reader to show a real-time animation sensing the registered finger. Other statements claims their new process to be very sensitive to moisture, so wet hands will probably show only an error message on the screen of your Galaxy S5, rather than unlocking the handset. The phone will allow to store in about eight fingerprint reads at a time and you can assign each of them for a different tasks, like opening an app shortcut, etc.

The company has also developed a new Personal Folder and Private Mode, that can keep your particular data like apps, widgets and contents away from others, working with the same fingerprint reading technology, PIN or pattern protected. Signing-in to your Samsung account and other websites can be done with your own fingerprint, than the need of entering your username and password each time. So, if everything goes right at the firms upcoming Unpacked 5 event, on 24th of this this month at the Mobile World Congress trade show, we may witness all this being true at our hands, until that taste it with rumors.
